It’s Not That Hard. Just A Lot Of Work.

Work is too hard!

I’m sitting here doing homework with my son Gianni.  He has spelling homework every week.  When he gets tired, he rolls around on the floor and says, “But Daddy, I don’t want to do my homework, it’s too hard!”  When I can keep him focused, he knows all the answers and can figure most of it out.  He has already gone over all of it in class for the past week.  So it really isn’t that hard, it is just more work than he is willing to put in.

Can you relate to that feeling?  Confusing “hard work” with it is just “too hard.”

When things are too hard, you need some extra knowledge or training.  When things take a lot of work, you just need to put in the effort.

If you find yourself complaining that things are too hard when they are actually just a lot of work, I give you permission to use the word LAZY!
